At first glance, this story seems really fucking stupid. Little do you know it's poignant and beautiful and wholesome.
This is a story about a girl with no social skills who has only ever learned how to form connections with others through hypersexual patterns, trying to be friends with the straight laced student council president. He starts writing her Friendship Rules, first as a way to get her to back off, but eventually as a way to help guide her through forming positive and meaningful relationships.
It's not a pervy manga (despite appearances), it doesn't even include romance. It's just about forming friendships, and it's so good, and I love it.
