I. Love. Harada. I love that Harada portrays abuse as abuse, rape as rape, unhealthy relationships as unhealthy, etc. while sticking with a good story.

The first story ends with the MC staying with his physically and emotionally abusive former partner and having a “happy ending” after the story reveals to us that the abuser was groomed and abused by his older brother. Like that makes it okay? It’s a classic “FEEL BAD FOR THE ABUSER/RAPIST BCUS HE HAS A TRAGIC BACKSTORY” to justify his victim staying with him. Would be a 1/5 if not for the second story being interesting.
