Hi,

I feel it's been a while since we spoke so I just came by to see how you are doing or if want to chat. You're list is looking good.

monster1994 July 23, 2016 1:21 am

Hi, again. I just came by to see how you are doing and to inquire about any Light Novel recommendations you might have for things like: (any one of the following)

-reincarnated,
-accumulate skills,
-summoned to another world,
-transported to another world,
-main character is a monster,
-magic,

if you don't have any that's fine, if you do that's fine too. Lately I have been reading LN a lot more than Manga etc. what about you?

Oh, before I forget can I ask, did you get another recommendation for your list 'cause I thought it was 2 not 3?

monster1994 July 20, 2016 6:30 am

Hi, I wasn't sure if I should recommend this or not so... http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/blind_faith_descent/ it seems that many people have commented on it having a novel as well as a manga although I searched I couldn't find it (the novel) which made me doubt it a bit. Perhaps you'll have better luck or maybe there isn't a novel... if so sorry for wasting your time.

(I'm typing it here because you may not find the novel)

Rehena July 22, 2016 3:17 pm

I tried looking for it and I could not find it really. Two things which could had happen is that its has another name or in any case you just can't find it online just cause. I don't know if its just a delusional that they just can't wait any longer but honestly I don't know which is true. if they do have a light novel well I can't find it as of now. It just might be its that its not translated therefore I don't know the original language of the title cause I don't know the language. In this case we can only wait patiently on whats going to happen.

Yeah, I agree.

monster1994 July 5, 2016 3:57 pm

Hey Rehena,

Something has been on my mind for little while. Lately I've been reading more LN but I have found some stories that will say this is the web novel and this is the light novel and they are the same story so is there a difference, do you know... (It's fine if don't it's just been in head recently, ya know)

Rehena July 6, 2016 9:42 am

There is actually from what I heard. I think they are still the same and similar just that the web novel has more chapters and the light novel are shorter but is refine? I don't know the word basically its the official copy of the story being re-edited. I don't usually read the light novel if the novel is originally web cause there's not enough chapters being translated as of yet also I pretty much knew a lot already. If I got the chance to read the official light novel I'll try to see how different they are.

Oh and from what I heard as well there's also few new additions to the light novel which could be interesting to read.

Hey, I've been reading the LN you suggested and I like it. I am still reading kuma... though, also I found something else similar to kuma... it is called: Lets aim to be the strongest. I believe it is only a Light Novel and not a manga.

Basically I am 'hoping' from one LN to the other and reading, pretty much reading them all at once.Anyway I thought I'd let you know about the LN I found in case you want give it a try reading it.

Oh, and Thank you lots for the LN recommendation.

monster1994 June 24, 2016 1:16 am

Hey, I just read this: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kumo_desu_ga_nani_ka/ from your list and I also just started reading the LN. Was wondering what your opinion on this manga and LN was, if you don't mind sharing it with me.

Rehena June 24, 2016 6:55 am

I don't mind at all. Though I had read it once but computer shut me down so I could not remember where I stop at. Anyway the novel is a lot shorter than the manga and the manga basically shortens the novel but I could not tell if its a good manga. The manga I enjoy it a lot from the looks of it reminds me of Moonlit journey and Slime de datta ken. Compare to a lot of the main character the personality it has its interesting it made a lot of people actually sympathize her and actually supports her which most people don't do much with rpg based story. She's not that op she understood she's weak and she tries to survive. She'll probably end up like Mio in Moonlit journey (by the way I learn about this novel from the web translation of moonlit journey) which hungers all the time. I would probably try to read it again after finishing other reads that has been updating recently. I like that you're enjoying so much from this manga.

I was really surprised by how much I was enjoying this. The first thing I noticed about it was how much it reminded me of Slime de datta ken, I love that one, though I never got to finish the LN cause I forgot where I stopped reading.

I'd like to read more like this, do you know of any more Manga or LN like this or Slime de datta ken that you could recommend to me to read if your not busy.

Well if its something similar I know one. Since both Kumo? (I never knew her spidey name) and Rimuru both obtain skills by actually doing stuff which they ate it. There is a novel that doesn't have a manga (sadly). It's a web novel actually. It is called Invincible Saint Salaryman. The character is somewhat like Yun from Only Sense Online since he is a support type since he can heal but can fight using swords like knights. Also a reincarnated ones, he choses not to accept death and was thrown into the fantasy like world by the God of Destiny. Luciel (MC) uses his skill points and have the followings skills he needed including a skill called luck. This luck may or may not works in a bizzare way that Luciel doesn't think he had bad luck. His actions is rather odd yet crazy for others he ended up given names that evolved to a higher heights. You will find that he attracts a lot of people that they cannot help but get involved even cared for him. This is all I will go for now. I'll leave a link here and another at the list so that you can read it when you want to.

Hello Rehena, I was just wondering if you had the same problem I do: I can't seem to stick to reading one thing at a time, and I'm always hopping from one thing to another. (Since I 'hop' from one to another it takes Forever to finish reading a manga etc. or Light Novel)

Am I the only one that does this or are there others that do it too...

Rehena June 18, 2016 4:54 pm

It happens a lot. Usually uccors when I arrived at a scene I don't like or the sudden urge to read something else for reasons I don't know. Its hard to continue on where you stop reading because there's no urge to it or simply u don't remember where you stop at. Light Novels are easy for to keep track cause I record it but mangas I don't keep since there's a lot. If I want to keep reading means I have to force myself to read but it doesn't work for the most of it. So far boredom only happens when the chapters are too long and thats where lazyness kicks in. Thats why mutiple chepters manga I never finish it is impossible for me to finish.

Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not the only one that 'hops'!

Oh, and I've nearly 100 manga etc for the Colored list, but now it seemed like it's getting harder to find them. What about you and your and your list? Has finding manga with LN gotten harder?

I got a list but I didn't put them into my own list. I don't want to put some of them in cause I'm not familiar with them. All of the list I put are things I already gotten to know. If I do put something I don't know it doesn't feel quite right. I'm going to putt some novels in and after that I'm going to put it off until I feel okay putting it. It's a weird reason but I guess that's how I do stuff like this. I'm not an orginize person. Hence my room looks messy which gets me lectured by my mom.

I understand your reasoning (I don't think it's weird). I'm like that too sometimes with the other list I've created (I don't pay them as much attention as the Colored list).

I am not an organized person either so try not to feel so bad about that.
Thanks for chatting with me! =)

monster1994 June 9, 2016 2:34 am

Hey. I just swung by to see how your doing. I noticed that your doing a good job updating your list, that's really great!

Rehena June 9, 2016 11:26 am

Yeah there's a bunch of other novels that are not added but I don't want to rush it. I add what I can to the list and update those later. This is the first making a list for me it's amazing the majority of the manga are novels. I didn't know there was so many well I can only do lil bits though. I don't think I can read all of them. I kept a record for a small part of it's a bit overwhelming if I kept a big list of reads. It helps that this list is here so I can go back and see my options.

Rehena June 9, 2016 11:27 am

Also should I post novels that does not have a manga for fun? That should be interesting what do you think monster?

Have you considered making another list for anything you read that doesn't have a novel and you thought was good?

Well there's a lot and it would be time consuming to make it. I'll do it if the list I'm currently making is done or there's nothing to add anymore.

monster1994 June 3, 2016 1:41 pm

Hey, just wanted to chat.

Did you know this: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/madan_no_ou_to_vanadis/ has an Anime? You mentioned you liked reading it in your list.

Oh, and someone followed my colored list today, for the first time I add. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Still that list needs a lot of work done before to it before I will be satisfied with it.
What do you think I should do to make my list better?

Rehena June 4, 2016 12:47 am

Well I have seen the opening in youtube but haven't watch the episodes at all. It looks promising to be honest but I am not sure. Is the anime good compare to the manga?

Not really sure, I haven't completely finished reading that yet but it seems to be pretty similar. The anime may end up following the manga exactly or very closely, at least that's my guess from what I've read so far. I am not sure which I like better: reading it or watching it. What about you?

Depends how the anime follows the manga or other way around. As long that its animated good I'm fine with it. I like reading since I can manage my time. Anime usually I focus on reading the subs a lot I sometimes wouldn't pay attention to details and it went by quite fast I had trouble understanding. I enjoy both as long as it intrigues me. It's like Attact on Titan which has awesome animation which the story follows well too, that includes Hellsing, Full Brother Metal Alchemist, etc. I am not fond watching anime like Naruto since there's way to many fillers or anything that has too many episodes I tend to have no time watching them or easily lose interest. At this point its only my reasons for liking between anime and manga. For others though they have the case when they prefer to watch because its easy for them to get hype or focus on the story. As for others, they prefer details and story explanations which are usually found in the manga most of the time. For them this is the easiest way of comprehending the story. Its the same with light novels too. Its a more detailed script than the manga or the anime depending how well the author describe everything in the story into one full chapter. That's how I see it.

Hey, Rehena just asking out of curiosity, but how long do you think it typically takes to finish reading a Light Novel?

Rehena June 2, 2016 4:51 am

Well lets say there's about 100 chapters or 200 chapters usually it takes about a half day or the whole day depending on your reading skills. I'm not exactly a fast reader this is as fast I can go when reading this amount of chapters. Excluding short chapters cause they are easier. For one day the maximum chapter that I can read is about 300 chapters I think. Well that's how long I think it takes to read light novels.

Wow! It took me like, a week to read 90 chapters and that wasn't so long ago either, I think I could've read it faster if it weren't for it being online. I prefer 'real' books to online ones. Although the online gives you more to choose from.
