Fools is very close to my heart. It is because I was Jeongwoo at some point in my life and maybe until now. How I was so in love with my ex that time. We were in a relationship for about 3 years and as what Eungi has said, "That feeling of fear that once someone notices you like them more than they like you, you lose". I am that kind of person who always give more than a hundred percent to someone I love. My ex kinda used that and while he was trying to find his true self, I was always left waiting and understanding. Then all of a sudden, he broke up with me. It was then that I started losing my self-confidence. It was then I started having anxieties and always overthinking things. I tried contacting him and even kneeled down to get back together. But it wasn't enough. I started doubting myself and thinking that maybe I had done something wrong or maybe he became fed up with me or maybe I should just change myself. It was traumatizing to me because he was my first in everything. I was even scared to be so happy because I might end up hurt after. After almost a year, I met my boyfriend.
What I love about Fools is how the whole story relates to what relationships go through in real life. It may not be for everyone but the thoughts and characters do happen. I love their character design and the color palette of the whole manhwa. It was refreshing to the eyes and although there wasn't any heavy drama, the feelings of the characters really put you on a rollercoaster ride. And the ending? It wasn't the ending I was expecting but it was definitely the ending suitable for Fools. Highly recommended.
