I don't get how Giovanni is being manipulative...
Someone help me understand but I don't think this is being manipulative. This isn't being toxic either. Imo, this is just having trauma and abandonment issues.
Giovanni just doesn't want to be abandoned, and that's fine. Tbh, it's also trauma from when he was a child. He doesn't want it to happen again but instead of his family leaving him, his lover leaves him. I don't think you'd want your love of your life to abandon you either.
He's scared Felix will leave him. He's scared Felix will just say, "Well, you're fine now! Time to leave! Nice knowing you!"
Which we ALL know that isn't going to happen, but think of this through Giovanni's perspective! He can't read Felixs' mind like we do. Giovanni doesn't know what Felix is thinking, but WE do. Which is why y'all needa understand why this is so hard on Giovanni. We get to read their minds. But they can't read each others. I think Giovanni knows Felix won't leave him, it's just he doesn't want to take the risk.
I think trust has a bit of play into this, but I think love is taking the lead. I'm not sure, we'll just have to keep reading and see what happens.
Hope this manhwa doesn't end with Giovanni getting the procedure and there ends the story and they live happily ever after and get married. I want more of them tbh.... hope we can continue reading this, much love towards the author.
I don't think geo doubt felix, he just scared with possiblity being apart. like if felix meet a misfortune, he chose to suffer instead being okay without felix. and with that mindset, he thinks that Felix will take care the better of himself since his life is depend on him too
For me, he's being manipulative only at the part where he thinks he can use his condition so that felix wouldn't be able to leave him in the future when (hypothetically speaking) his feelings for him change, only at that part. But as what your comment explains, we can't blame him. He got some issues and anxieties but we still love him AND we all know for a fact that if ever felix's feelings towards gio change it will only be stronger nothing less

I don't think this is rape. Sure, disagree with me, but I'm not here to debate. "iTs nOt rApE iF tHey LikED iT!", they are in a relationship, they've prob done WAY MORE WORSE THINGS, and I'm sure the uke doesn't care if the seme fucks him in his sleep.
