for once, i watched the drama first and now i dont think i can read the manwha without comparing it. its impossible to separate Yoo In-Na from Oh Jin-Shim, or Lee Dong-Wook from Kwon Jung-rok. It was a beautiful drama, and the while the story is the same, the characters themselves are too differently portrayed. I'm sure it's an amazing story in its own right, hell, it has to be. But this is one manwha where I have to say, the kdrama is better.

UNTIL NOW FUCK IM ACTUALLY CRYING SO HARD RN. the way her mom ADORES her, knowing how HAPPY her dad must have been to be reunited with her, and knowing he has to leave her again to come back to athanasia. it huurrrts omg. but its SO beautifully done. the love they all have for one another... its so beautifully captured in this story. fuck. i love this story so much.

it's one thing to just not like the art style or think it's ugly, which i honestly do, but they look like actual children the way it's drawn. from the comments i can assume they recently had sex and that's just... uncomfortable with how they look. I made it through two chapters before I put it down. The eyes are just too damn much.
im really trying to enjoy the story, but the awful translation really takes me out of the experience. im on 27 and i finally had to stop. im directly quoting a panel here in ch 27: "I love to my when wife smile like that. Keep that look on for a long time." It's just... AWFULLY broken english the entire story so far. It's difficult to follow many scenes and throws the flow off entirely. Sweet or important scenes are sometimes ruined by a childish translation. Does it get ANY better going forward?? I really can't keep reading like this.
it gets a lot better don’t worry
