I don't understand why everyone is so pressed about Gyul. People need to understand the person's past before bashing on them for their actions. Of course he's going to get mad; he always feels as if he's a burden. Yo he literally has been saying that throughout the story.
Also, think about the country they're in. Of course there will be plenty of obstacles to overcome in a place where homosexuality is a huge no-no. It's scary; not a lot of people will be as accepting as Hyunho's friend.
Understand the circumstances before judging a character because honestly, Gyul has grown so much a character but that doesn't mean the feelings will not remain. He has lost so many people, he doesn't want to lose another.

I know right?? I feel like most people commenting things like this don't really understand or even try to understand that characters and how hard it really is to love the same gender, I see so many comments like this and I just get like "wow I'm sorry he's confused and feels anxious about being gay" nsksnaksndkkskdf like idk man some people...

YES! I mean I like to say that most like usually don't break down each character y'know? Whenever I read, I have to understand the character in order to be able to see why they do what they do. I dislike judging people but it's a natural thing. Even when I do, I still take the time to break down their character. Y'know what I mean?

Omg is that, is that a smile? So beautiful skskks

In fact, I like that Gyul is being supportive about it. It goes to show that Hyunho's happiness means a lot to him. I know some will say that "Gyul is his happiness", but he's blinded with love.
Hyunho dreamed on going pro so he can support his mans later on and they can happily live together alongside his little brother.
You have to take risks in life in order to meet your goals. I find it great that Gyul isn't pulling him back and making him throw all of his hard work away.
The picture of Hyunho smiling really shows how much he loves what he does and how much it means to him. Gyul knows what he's doing!
If he were to get mad at Hyunho for going and forced him to stay, then that would make him selfish and a total dick.
Gyul is not the best with feelings and it's obviously shown through the entire story; his character development is quite slow but he's getting there.
I also want to add on that going pro IS NOT AN EASY PROCESS! It takes a lot of hard work and training and to be able to finally be a professional soccer player (or any player) is a fucking miracle.
That is also the reason why Gyul doesn't want Hyunho to throw the BIGGEST FUCKING OPPORTUNITY AWAY!
