in chapter 76 seulgi literally thanks jay for "being her friend"! I really wanted them to end up together did they at least love each other more than friends? Or was it implied by the author? Cause this manhwa felt yuribait in some places

The author never actually disclosed if they're more than friends or not...so not to get much hopes up we think it might just be a friendship which not just so typical. Cause as you may see jay has special feelings for Seulgi (kissing her in the classroom, saving her, keeping her), on the other hand Seulgi has the awareness of their friendship (she's aware that jay behavior is not just typical friendly) but they still hold each other dearly.
On the other hand in drama Seulgi seems already too much aware than the Seulgi in comic. Jay is still in her mysterious era....and the team said it has gl elements (maybe the kiss only...but they are trying to give the idea that maybe they'll develop feeling more than friends if not directly end up dating or something.
But we should really be happy with whatever we get cause the making is fire, more logical, top notch bgm, cinematography and their acting are over the roof
