Sometimes a ridiculous plot can be executed so well it doesn't matter. This is the other way around. The plot is great, but the execution is... not that great. It is too rushed. Stories like these need more development. But, it is still ok. It's like plain smutty porn but with a deeper meaning and I guess that is what the mangaka was aiming for. I am just thinking out loud.
Yup, I thought so, too. It's more of a casual plot, rather a casual dark plot. It's dark but it's not supposed to be too elaborated. At least the tone or the intention is clear, I mean unlike other where they give this feeling like they are going to make an elaborate story yet falls short and rushed in the end.

Bah! DISAPPOINTED! I really like rape when both of them knows they actually wants it but still doesn't give consent. A little provocation is fine, but this went from "you annoy me when you take my girls" to "I crave to explore your asshole" a little too quickly.
If they both want it, that's not rape.
If you say no and somebody still proceeds to have sex with you, even if you truly want it, it is rape, because you didn't give consent.
I only enjoy rape scenes if the "victim" wants it but just can't accept that he wants it, and objects, and thus by objecting - that is rape. But not "actual" rape as in inflicting pain and shame (never thought I would use the word actual rape). That is why I like Koisuru Boukun so much, although if it wasn't fiction that scenario would be pretty bad but hey, it's fiction.
Yeah, I like Koisuru Boukun, too. Plus, Morinaga was just really adorable and then when he seduces his uke and suddenly turns all manly, the gap moe is freaking amazing. Lol. Also one example of that kinda rape is the finder series, Akihito SO had always wanted it, but didn't want to accept that he really wanted it. (▰˘◡˘▰) I've always thought he has a bit of a masochistic side~ I love him.

I am failing to see the romance here... is it just as casual through the whole manga or? I don't want to waste my time if my heart isn't going to thump.
I think this is less of a romance, and more of a slice of life/comedy. The couples are pretty much already together, so the manga's showing more of like the daily life of otaku couples. The manga's probably meant for people to be like "Yes, I totally relate" than for people to feel their heart go *doki doki*
Oh ok. It's just... I've been in a relationship for 11 years and we are so much more passionate than this. I can't relate. The very reason I want to read romantic *doki doki* stuff is because I can relate. But every relationship is different. It feels like these two got together just because it feels comfortable though. But I will move on. It's still a good manga but it's labeled wrong. :)
Also... it kind of shows how people expect things to just get bland when you actually get together. I guess that is why people break up.
Well theres actually a chapter where hirotaka feels their relationship isnt that different than when they were friends. Thats when koyanagi says that it doesnt matter how fast the progress is, if it is steady and they are as close as ever, and make eachother happy, any realtionship is good to go(something along these lines).
So this mangas not really a heart thumping one, but like a laid back funny and warn one. Its definitely a good read tho!! :-)

The uke is so confused. I think you guys are a little too harsh, but his choices are pretty fucking stupid and well, he's not a real person lol. He's like that kind of woman you always hear of - who goes back to cheating abusive boyfriends. I have never understood that kind of emotion but I have close friends who's done that so I kind of feel for this character, even though he is pretty annoying. And the seme is cute for being a pushover. That's quite refreshing in a seme, also, he's fucking hot. That body type, yum yum. But that passionate heart throbbing sexual tension and pure hot love is rarely present. :/ I'll continue reading this because I want to see what happens and to see more of the seme.
