I love how the story makes you think Taylor is the main love interest at first but gives a million reasons why he’s bad for jimmy including his cowardice, the way he doesn’t trust jimmy, he literally raised and experimented on him and then Henry is just a green flag for all Taylor’s multiple red flags.
Even without that crazy purple girl, Taylor and Jimmy wouldn’t have worked out. Henry had his own crazy stalker as well but he communicated with jimmy and mender abandoned him. Taylor ditched jimmy constantly.
