I guess it's because she's scared... It's not easy and there's a lot going in their minds not to mention how Korea judges a women that gets pregnant before marring and not only that but the kind of environment she grew up in probably really hunts her specially now that the same thing seems to be happening to her and don't forget she also loved someone else... it's normal she does not want to be forced to try to love someone specially from her workplace
I can see that, despite her upbringing, if she's already decided on keeping the baby, you'd think she'd be determined to do it all better than her mother did. That doesn't necessarily mean she HAS to marry the guy, but her mom had so much disdain for her father that he was clearly rarely apart of her life, which obviously effected her in a negative way, so you'd think she'd want it to be different for her kid. Especially since she has the father of the Child essentially begging her to be apart of the pregnancy and upbringing. She shouldn't be denying him that right at least. He helped make the Child, now he wants to take responsibility for the role he played. She doesn't have the right to deny him of that even though she did time after time. And what would happen if he had just accepted the kid not being his? The kid doesn't get a father and the father doesn't have the option to be apart of the Kids life all because she made a rash decision on the claim of being scared?
