I think the brother finds her too (before the prince does) and it scares her. I haven't that mich into this spoiler thread to get a better idea about what happens in that scene.

I think she knows the prince is an asshole, but she was also aways aware of the future and his fate of ending up with misano. As soon as misano came into play, she resigned herself from their romance. She doesnt have such high expectations for him, as she never truly believed they would be together forever-even as a child, it was just hope and self indulgence.

Yeah, I feel the same. I think there's also the chance that the prince started to change overtime as well, so that he may not have been how she really knew him when they were both young (though it's been a bit since I read the part with their first meeting, but I think I remember him being somewhat stuck-up and full of himself at this point in time too, though I don't think it was to the same degree it currently is now, correct me if I'm wrong). Like they show how he cared and supported her (and her him) when they were younger when her family abused her (which is where that hope and indulgence stems from), but none of the flashbacks seem to be from a relatively recent point in time either, so it could have been them starting to grow apart (whether its from him becoming more of an ass, her knowing that he would eventuality turn on her, or a combination of the two)

Not only they're not going to sue him, they're also going to have sex right after, as if that's the first thing the victim wants to do after being sexually assaulted.

Fuck logic I guess.

I don't know about sexual assault cases in Japan but I do have to wonder if it's cuz of the differences in Japan's legal system, too... But god I wish they'd treat SA more seriously omg
