I’m not American but I can already tell all the great things Biden will do for America. Im not settling, I am choosing for the following reasons:

He will take amazing precautions for COVID
He was never racist
abortions legalized in all states
Support for LGBTQ rights
Finding for individuals with disabilities
Supporting BLM

Yes there are many things to not like about him but I can proudly say that this man is on the right track to making America a better place.

He respects basic human rights (something the orange couldn’t do) and that is fundamental when running for office and running a whole administration. Just because you “settled” for Biden doesn’t mean that he should not be uplifted and celebrated.

I agree. But hate will never truly disappear. There is deadass such deep rooted hate in America, amongst the American people. It is honestly impossible to get rid of. If Biden is able to effectively restructure the American society and positively impact their economy, rigt-winged individuals may change there mind. But I highkey doubt that.

Its 30th October here. Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I started reading BL long ages ago, at the same time I discover Josei, after I got extremely tired with Shoujo, probably when I was 18? I dont think I am too old to be on this site since well, but sometimes when I read comments that sound so entitled or comments that are selfish, I do feel old.

Thank you for making feel like I'm the only one ! I literally just discovered BL 3 months ago & I feel like I'm late to the party. Like I never knew it existed. So I guess its just a guilty pleasure to some & for me its like a gateway to dissociate from reality.

I don’t know when I discovered the genre (some years ago, but I wasn’t very interested), but it was only this year that I started reading shounen ai and yaoi. A friend of mine recommended bj alex and directed me to this website. I loved it and wanted to see more, so I decided to explore this further. Because of the quarantine I went to town here ╮(￣▽￣)╭. Now I’m here everyday checking the updates and trying to find new stories, since I still have a lot of free time.
Although I knew the genre existed I didn’t knew about the variations of it, that I only discovered this year while looking for stuff to read.
But why do you ask? Just curiosity?

oh yes, its a great way to run away from reality. I am the type to read everything, not heavily focused to one genre and i dont think you're late to the party at all. The community has grown compared to years ago where we were looked down upon and often be told that we were fetishizing gays. Most of old works really dealt with LQBT+ issues and only more recent works are racy and spicy iykwim

Honestly I ask mostly out of curiosity & just trying to make small talk. For me i just discovered that webtoons, manhwas etc. Existed like maybe 3 months ago & idk how I never came across it because its wonderful .

Also majority of the time I'm on here I come across some ridiculous comments that make me remember I'm old af & everyone thinks differently at certain ages. Although some get it & others are lost causes... but yeah its out of curiosity. Thanks for responding.

I read everything too... well mostly things that peek my interest it depends what I'm in the mood for. But I'm glad that in some ways the world is finally changing & excepting people for who they are. The constant labeling & stereotypes is annoying. But for the most part I'm happy that they're people who are in the boat with me cruising through all different types of stories.

Yeah, I also have that feeling sometimes. But I don’t know if it’s about age or just the way some people think. Because its such a wide world you get to see the thoughts of so many different people, and it’s impossible for everybody to agree on certain views. But other times you can detect that it’s just immaturity and inexperience (￣∇￣"). Maybe a mix of both age and mentality.
Still... 26 is not old. Although if you keep comparing to 15yos of course you’ll feel old xD this type of art is to be enjoyed by adults, so if you’re above 18 (at least where I’m from) you’re an adult and you’re neither too old or too young to enjoy this.

I wish I would have found it a lot sooner and I'm glad I have access to it now.. quarantine was looong. I've also learned a lot of things (not in a fantasizing type of way or romanticized). But mostly research purposes (if that makes sense). But thanks for responding

Yeah for me I was comparing it to my middle school life because I used to do virtual world sites & as soon as I entered high school I dropped it & started doing sports . Plus I think it would have been weird if I stayed. So I'm glad I found something that is ok for me to be on but I dont think I'll ever have someone to share my interests with in the real world.

It depends. The rules depend on the author but in some of them, anyone(even betas and alphas males) can give birth. But i think the omegaverse version where only omegas male and women can give birth is more popular.

i like the drama of the impossible relationships

For me is because i like to see gay couples falling in love and having (most of the time anyway) a happy ending.

I love reading BL because there is so much story into it. You can feel the love and affection and how much they support each other no matter what. Most of my favorite BL are when the characters is always smiling and the seme is a cold person and then the uke turn them to a cute and adorable person. It so wholesome and I love it so much!

I mostly like shounen ai ones or plot based ones so I like how it makes my heart kaboom with the wholesomeness or how the plot folds in an unexpected way ^ ^

i like seeing them overcome that barrier of homo discrimination, or seeing guys who previously thought they were straight go into homo panic lol
i find bl smut to be easier to read about since im female and cant relatee
