Not sure if its due to the switch from official to mtl. The story is pissing me off. Its the same repeated sequence of events every time. For the last 116 chapters. Kind of sick of MCs repeated shtick of diving head first without a plan and ML swooping in to muck up his shit. Its like his suicide plotline was solely added for the purpose of making the ML look obsessed. There has been no development in the relationship no plot development in the demon awakening. Like its obvious he wont die and the ML is going to sacrifice something to save him but can the MC do something for once? Like he wasn’t like this in the beginning. He was cold and calculating. Smart overall, over time its just him throwing himself at the mouth of danger and the ML saving him every time. Very frustrating bcs 116 chapters is not a small amount to expect for development
