Fellow Yahwi stan here too. I agree with you, I will never understand why this fandom takes this story so seriously. There's nothing wrong with liking or disliking fictional characters, it's more toxic to assume a person's behavior or personality based off what characters they like. I dropped this manhwa not so long ago precisely because of how toxic this fandom is, just came back to check after seeing last chapters' spoilers. if they kept the 11 year age gap and put it at 18 and 29 instead of 15 and 26 (just a example) i feel like it would be a lot more “appropriate” for the age gap.
i’ve read quite a bit of age gaps and my largest one being 18&35. and i thought that was a bit much. but 15&26 raises the bar for that.
