Hmm, probably an unpopular opinion but I didn't feel this. The romance was rushed too much and I didn't feel a true connection between them, but the uke was cute though with his little teeth.
I thought they got attracted to each other after that one moment of confession, and things just progressed from there... I was troubled, however, by how secret their relationship is. I mean, eventually, the family would find out - it's especially important since they're not adults yet. I guess I just wanted to see what happened after.
I think Kon's family has a hint of that, but I guess I'm kind of hoping that someday, maybe when they're working, they'll finally tell the truth. It just makes everything feel more complete, and they can't hide things forever.
I think of this as a Polyamorous relationship, even if it didn't start off that way. At first, Hiroi just wanted to share everything he had with Take (even though Mine disliked it). But eventually Take became romantically attracted to Mine, so now its like Hiroi and Take loving the same person(with some rules here and there!) . However, Hiroi and Take don't love each other, it's just admiration and an obsessive friendship.
To be honest, I only finished it because I was almost at the end. But Jinnai's possessiveness, anger, and forcefulness was no longer "hot" but more so abusive and it ruined it for me. The art is beautiful! Of course I know it's just a manga ^^ But in real life those are red flags of a potential abusive relationship.
Y'all notice that he wants to get down and dirty 69 style on chapter 69? YOU AIN'T SLICK BOY. I SEE YOU.
