This is probably the most healthiest relationship I've seen in yaoi it feels like a relationship you see in real life it's beautiful. No rape, no cheating, consent, gay characters and communication!
You know what I found beautiful after Terashima was nearly sexual assaulted by that prick, Narasaki checked how he felt and knew it was so important not to touch Terashima after going through that. Terashima showed he could handle himself and took the reigns and let Narasaki know he wanted to be touched.
I would love to see a movie of this or something it would be so good!!
I love the natural progression of Kazunari and Hayato's relationship, both finding out they have their sexuality in common (I love it when yaoi has actual gay characters!). Both also afraid to be shunned by their school (Kuzunari especially) because you know how homophobia is so apparent. Hayato is a fluff ball who deserves all the love I felt for him when he confessed cause he wasn't expecting anything and felt he already ruined things. Kazunari being dense as bricks finally comes around.
I did wish to see Hayato's brother in this properly and see him and Hayato confront past demons. I know Hayato has grown as a person but it would've been nice to see him apologise to his brother. Cheating is never okay and tbh I blame his aniki's boyfriend more who was practically grown and seduced Hayato. Not saying Hayato is perfect but he was a minor. I remember when I was his age in school older people tend to have a hold over you and you get easily swayed at that age.
The morning scene where they kiss and Takara tells him to have a safe trip is so soft it gave me cavities AHH!!
When I read they've been together for 8 years I was shook this is a HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP people! I also have a soft spot for gay dads. A personal favourite scene is probably when Ayumi like a queen tackled that girls homophobia. At this point kids are still learning so those comments would be common it's nice to see that addressed in this.
