NEEDED MORE CIDER FOR THAT ABUSIVE TRASH. the little slapping in panel is not enough she should have groveled and APOLOGIZED. TO. DIVE. then at least dive would understand the severity of the situation.... but left like this, dive would only think "that unknown lady just beat my nanny for [no reason**]!!!!" (asterisks because there IS a reason, but dive clearly didnt know how to differentiate abuse). i think hes really cute and i wish she could take him with her, but ik that piece of trash "father" would only keep dive as a back up for jainer. UGH but camilla THANK YOU FOR NOT LETTING TJAT SHIT SLIDE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANTED TO STAY OUT OF IT. too many people let familial abuse slide thinking "not my problem," which perpetuates cycles of abuse, especially when its family thinking that. idk i like camillas personality, shes spunky and not "innocent" like other fls (hate to say "not like other girls" but she really isnt like the cliches) very refreshing

all these characters frustrate the shit out of me
- father is completely irrational despite his "locking away of his emotions" or whatever it seems he still has room to feel hatred, spite, resentment, and anger. not even considers the fact that people are individuals—hes a complete hypocrite. old ahh man acting childish for no reason
- ml whose name keeps changing is just so not it. hes mildly boring, his personality flip flops so much and he doesnt even act like a child, which hes supposed to be. this is personal preference, but i just dont like when stories like this force the romance so early on between a child and a character who is mentally older to their counterpart, especially when they try to make the child (in this case the ml) seem more "mature" for his age. it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and comes off as incredibly cringe when you think about all of his "power" that hes using as leverage stems from his guardians/parents rather than himself. i know that will change in the future and he will get stronger or whatever, but thats exactly why i dont like being forced this kind of romance early on. also, hes been selfish this entire time with the mc, yeah sure she enjoyed the theater as well as whatever else he may come up with, but at the end of the day she has been literally abused and isolated for some ~30 years and is bound to enjoy every new experience. ml is the one who keeps barging into her safe spaces, ignoring everyone's warnings, and again this is personal but their time together i find boring both in general and for the plot
- i really dont have a problem with the mc besides the fact that despite wanting to enjoy "small luxuries" she rarely does anything to fulfill that task unless its being thrusted upon her. i know she knows shes going to die, and this is personal, but i wish she was a little more ambitious at the very least to her goal, otherwise it would make no sense to even entertain the idea of "staying alive" if she already made peace with the idea of dying young. this may seem harsh but she said it herself, she really believes has nothing else to live for. if thats the case, she should want to be more active in doing things for herself until then, and being more "selfish" (just putting herself first) with what she wants since she knows it wont matter in the end.
- brother and the old woman mage are probably the only 2 characters i dont have a problem with, they do what theyre supposed to do and are written well enough for the story.
i dont know, maybe im being too harsh, but 35 chapters in and you would think there would be more progress within the father-daughter relationship considering its marketed that way (the title literally saying "daddy"). i know they both dont and wont like each other initially, which is at least something i can praise considering their tumultuous past in relation to each other and their trauma, there is little movement being made to even bring up the possibility of a future healthy relationship. obviously i know thats the point, but their relationship is clearly being put in the back burner, which again i dont like since i read in order to watch their relationship develop and instead am being shown romance at every chapter since the ml appeared. tbh i see more chemistry between the mc and the blue haired beastkin than i do with her and the prince. thats saying a lot considering he was barely introduced, yet STILL overpowered the ml. the prince is just boring, but with the beastkin it feels like theres purpose. ill probably continue reading to see if anything develops between them instead. i really hope so considering theyre incredibly similar, as theyre already shown as parallels, and could be end up helping each other out.

I just want to say I appreciate you and your comment. LMFAO (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I agree. The father-daughter relationship is so underdeveloped despite it being the whole purpose and MC is really just waddling around not doing anything to enjoy her newfound freedom. ML is an annoying brat who is poorly written in every aspect.

cant tell if i want to peg him or be fucked by him but EITHER WAY we are getting DOWN AND DIR-TTTYYY. i wont stop until we've painted every surface white and then some. im getting ready to make that white marbled countertop han maru you are not ready for me baby girl. ill make sure to fill your gluttonous stomach in a way you wont expect

I DONT CARE IF HE HAS A REALLY SAD OR TRAGIC BACKSTORY OR REASONING FOR KILLING HER, THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS HE STILL TOOK HER LIFE. HE KILLED HER. THATS INCREDIBLY LOW, SELFISH, AND FUCKING WRONG. I HOPE YOU KHALID APOLOGISTS REALIZE HOW WRONG THAT IS. fucking traitorous bastard. cut her head off and sold out his country, for fucking what.
