korean authors do not really know how privileged they are smh. this manhwa won’t even get this much attention and popularity if it was not even published on illegal sites. i get the anger from losing potential money; however, not everyone has the means to buy legally (as many, especially in 3rd world countries are just barely making ends meet, let alone buy for hobbies). however, to send death threats and her asslicker fandom to attack the 18 y/o does not really sit right with me.
it’s saddening how this situation turned out. man, truly, fuck capitalism
While some of what you said is true, it's not fair to label Korean authors as "privileged" ( ̄∇ ̄"). In reality, many of them face immense pressure and workload, leading to health problems. It's just pure hypocrisy to play the "poor card" and attack their work when their livelihood is at risk of getting discontinued. (eg. 'Prey' on Lzhn). Readers promote the series but still got discontinued due to low views on the legal site. :((((((
saying theyre privilege is diabolical IJBOL. Not tryna defend the author but be aware that authors DON'T OWE US ANYTHING. Whats the point of making the story popular on illegal sites if those who can AFFORD dont even bother to buy at least 2-3 chapters?
Besides, some sites like l*zh*in and t*p*s give free coins to access chapters. That's if you do missions or watch ads. Since im a broke ass college student I do those to buy 2-3 chapters and thats barely the bare minimum.
Stop trying to act like were giving the authors shit when we actually arent.
there are so many issues left to tackle with like jellyfish and kim sahyeok among others. y'all, THIS CANNOT BE THE END HUHUHUHU. i am hoping for side stories fr
