Well as another comment said twins are soulmates and in ancient times they raised them apart to not fall in love. That's what I heard anyways, I do believe that even your lover who is not related to you has probably been blood related in past lives and future.
Jokes on them, that method is very flawed since raising children apart (even if they're siblings) can result in the children not seeing each other as actual blood-related siblings and of course puberty and hormones will lock in and then you have two frisky teenagers who otherwise have no relationship theen eventually bam incest
