... getting porn instead of closure. Seriously, I loved this series. Though i didn't expect much from it before because of the naturally strange/non-human dynamics of this relationship, this last title gave me hope for something more realistic and complicated. But it seems like all the hype and feels built up just to be thrown away like nothing and we readers are expected to just deal with it. It's kind of unfair. My only consolation is that they're together again, though I'm no longer sure if that's what I even want.
The love between these two was just so amazing, and their connection was organic. You could really see them in their eighties still bickering and jumping each other's bones. Tatsucchi was so strong-hearted to a fault, which I think was what made the story messed up (I mean, no one should have to just grit their teeth and suck it up in the face of abuse) but his ability to turn things around and give his partner full confidence despite the situation is truly admirable. And Nozomi... what can I say? This darling boy just became one of my favorite semes of all time. They're both so freaking cuuuuute!!!
I'm suddenly confused with Chun Sam's father and his convo with the priestess or sumth. What did she mean when they should have just watched by? And what are they talking about with the meetup with Min Gyeom? Someone please explain this to me.
Oh okay. But I still don't think that they should be blamed for offering their boy's high school crush some homemade dinner. They were just being nice then, but now they're being paid back with heartache because of Min Gyeom's impulsiveness, self-pity and raging hormones. I don't mean to hate on him, but I just really felt sorry for Chun Sam's mom,
I don't even care who started it all in the first place. I don't care who's supposed to say sorry, or if they weren't able to explain their sides of the story. They have all the time in the world for that. I'M JUST SO FREAKING HAPPY AND RELIVED THAT THIS SHITSTORM IS FINALLY OVER. All I care about is that my two kittens are together again so I can be at peace (▰˘◡˘▰)
I am in love with how this mangaka transforms simple storylines with the flow of her art. I think she pays attention to how everything looks like on the panels, giving the readers a kind of unbroken progression that is missing from a lot of yaoi scenes. And the way she draws expressions - exquisite. The kisses are delicious and raw. Most importantly, she loves to draw her charcters laughing during sex, and for me that creates the biggest impact. You just know that she puts so much love into her work.
