i love love love how this shifted (or atleast it was assumed to be) a light-hearted romance between two people and became something much more, something more realistic and just not a black-and-white, this vs. that, type of thing. ofc, it already was evident what type of manga it was going to be, knowing the previous works of the mangaka but it's STILL SURPRISING. it's very interesting :)
Respectfully, it's better to just break it off because there's no way to come to a conclusion of marrying or not marrying by talking it out or coming to a temporary solution. Either party or both parties are going to be unsatisfied if you come to a decision for something. It's just so much better to find a partner loves you but also has the same future goals as you.
Literally don't settle for less and especially don't settle for someone who doesn't have the same dream of getting married. You'll get hurt in the long run.
Shishikura, baby, I'm begging you, PLEASE PLEASE GO BACK TO THAT GUY FROM THE MARRIAGE INTERVIEW. ATLEAST HE WANTS TO FUCKING MARRY.
