Ive seen so many mean and nasty comments and I just have to ask, did yall read this with your eyes closed?? Because I don’t see any glamorising of teen pregnancy. This is a raw story abt the realities of teen pregnancy in a country where sex education is lacking and where resources aren’t as readily available. Your moral high ground is jarring especially if you read the authors notes after every chapter where she explains in detail about sexual health & pregnancy. This manga is obviously geared towards young unknowing japanese teens and the bitching from yall is making me lose braincells.
I am also confused - do people really not understand what they are reading? Do people say the same shit in the comments of series where they main character for example kills people? No they do not. But somehow educational story about what teenage pregnancy can lead to is too much apparently and "glamorizes it" :D I have cried so much reading this and felt awful for the lead - but sure, let´s think this heavy story is telling you how easy and fun it is to raise a child as a teenager（￣へ￣）
I know right?! when the topic isn’t “fantasy-esc” and actually talks and brings awareness to real world heavy topics suddenly people lose all media literacy..
