I read the novel and it showed Lucia and Hue's thought process much better. Mind you folks, at this point, they're in the cupcake phase and Hue and Lucia both start to realize they want more than passionate nights and pleasant conversations from each other. However, they're both afraid to HAVE more. They don't really have experience with how to deal with their feelings and none had the upbringing that taught what love is. They're clumsy with their emotions but they will learn.
The beauty of their story is seeing Lucia and Hue grow as individuals and as a couple too. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
