I'm enjoying this story. The little sub-plot between Fumi and Chiyo brings up something from the past for Shun, maybe reminding him of all the reasons he left ... Kyushu? Shikoku? (Can't remember the name of his island.) The little girl reminds me of the woman he left at the altar. Nice complication thrown into the mix.

That's what I was thinking. This mangaka is good at teasing out issues buried in the past for the main couple by playing them off things going on in the present. There's that whole business with his father. Then there's the former classmate who was so candid about being straight at the beginning. Now there's this kid-thing. I wonder if Shun wanted people to think he was straight before he left.
I don't get this. Why does the sensei like the student?
Because he's cute and tsundere as fuck.
I think sensei found Ikuta's strong and honest feelings (For the girl) and everchanging expressions appealing and cute.
And how although Ikuta seemed to love her so much, he was unable to say it straight to her, and sensei got curious of Ikuta's tsundere nature. And when they started to spend more time together, sensei just came to love for Ikuta.
Amen
