ugh this is so good. i’m so stoked that isagi scored the first goal of this current game and i love the sort of mentorship noel and him have.
i really like this type of manga. it’s definitely different from all the other ones i’ve read, especially ao ashi but that’s what i like.
i like that it’s not happy go lucky and all about sportsmanship but using each other as stepping stones. it’s different and dark and i love each new character we get to see.
obviously i hope for isagi to come out on top ima always go for the mc in most cases but i’m enjoying everyone else’s evolutions!!

i think she was considering how earlier in the chapters mc and astor sleep together in the same bed along with rion, after mc gets drunk or smth. Rion says that he shouldn’t be there because he is a man, yet astor makes no comment despite also looking like a man. I found it odd while reading but turns out my suspicions had some basis. I also think the translators got it mixed up in the past chapters, using he/him pronouns for astor.
So yeah the author meant for her to be a girl but the translators couldn’t understand this and thought astor was a guy.
