I can't take Jaekyung seriously. His behavior is just so...bizarre? that it loops back to being unintentionally funny.
Like, of course, pick on Dan for the dozenth time. Go, you! Give us nothing!
Honestly, I've had a fun experience reading Jinx, but I've got no idea whether my enjoyment's ironic or not. Guess we'll see.

Bizarre? I see you have yet to discover the humans we call narcissists with a major lack of empathy/sympathy for others, bless your innocent soul! :'D
His behavior can be strange to those that don't know, i can totally see that. but if you're old enough and know what type of person he is, it makes very much sense, i can asure you. As dislikable as he is, he still makes sense. Tho I sometimes wish he didn't. It would make hating him less frustrating. XD

"I see you have yet to discover the humans we call narcissists with a major lack of empathy/sympathy for others, bless your innocent soul!"
You mean JJ himself? Cause he IS dislikeable, and I think most people do understand him. They just don't agree with his current actions. Which is good. We know what kinda person he is so far, he's an asshole so far with control issues.
Dan doesn't deserve it.
Why are you only now making sense today?? makes me want to unblock you; I think there's an agreement in understand but a different POV.
I wanna have convos and hear contrasting opinions but some people get too defensive. arguments are tiring and lead nowhere.

@Sir donewithyoshit
Yep, I mean JJ and the likes of him in real life (have to life with a narc mother, so I know my fair share of narc traits, haha).
He displays very clear signs of being a narcissist with empathy and control issues indeed. Which makes me both sad and hopeful. Sad because I know narcs do not change but hopeful because this is a fictional piece and anything can happen. ;v;
Don't get me wrong, I don't like him either, he's among the top 10 worst characters I have discovered over the years. As handsome as his character design is, he needs some serious work to become likable.
At this point I'm just waiting to see JJ crumble after realizing he's a prick who hurts others and Danny boy becoming happy (with JJ I suppose, but I'm really just hear to see Danny get better). :'D
Pardon me, but I tend to make a lot of sense! Well... Most of the time. >_> [insert flashbacks of drunken game chat comments from last month here]
I think the making sense part might be easier to display if things wouldn't escalate into an essay so easily and things were less heated in general. And with comments being broken so I cannot reply from notifications after calling up a threat...that's kinda too much work. So short comments are favoured by many.
I think many people in the comments might actually think alike but get a bit too heated due to talking past each other/missing points here and there (maybe because of not going into detail often enough or others just NOT asking). I've seen many be VERY passive-aggressive (me too at times) because they are annoyed about so many agressive comments they see. (Which is really sad tbh. It's not fun to have a comments section with this being the experience. :( )
I totally agree with you on the matter of liking convos and discussing stuff. That's the great thing about the comments on here tbh! People just seem very aggressive and annoyed over all. Maybe if things die down a little it'll be easier to talk, but I'm not sure. ;v;
Either way, i think we generally agree on JJ being a dickhead, Dan being a poor bastard who deserves better and the story only being pleasant if JJ ever changes to be good (which he better does or I'm gonna slap his tits off, I swear).
And hey, even if we disagree on stuff, I think we all don't need to be at each others' throat like the other is Hitler 2.0. :'D

Pretty nice! I liked how the mangaka was able to expand on Satoru's character from the previous story (Akihabara Fall in Love) by giving extra details to him and the family, making him a much more interesting character.
For one, because their parents were gone, Satoru and Ayumu became close, which kind of justifies why he did the weird pose thing? (although it was still creepy ngl)
But also, I like that he has issues that linger on his psyche--seeing Ayumu and Hasegawa get together challenges his perspective on love, and how in his *own* life, having never felt that attachment, he feels a rift that he can't cross. It makes me genuinely feel for this character, and makes me understand why he was so *weird* in the first few chapters.
I wish that the whole conflict lingered a little bit longer, but still, I still appreciate the attempt of bringing the narrative in that direction.
Kudos to the mangaka to make the brocon into an actual character.

Hey, I remember reading the novel of this series a really long time ago (which was left unfinished while the author worked on the webtoon) and I'm wondering about the hate towards Khaol in this adaption? Is he really that bad here? I think he was left more ambiguous in the novel, but I'm not 100% sure, as it's been like, two years since I last read it.
I think the novel was around the point where River was recently reborn, so maybe things have changed?
Ahhh, I love them! Everything about this chapter is so good, especially the ending segment. Seeing Toga being validated even in spite of her quirk—her finally opening her child “self” to Uraraka—Hero Society is a bitch and I’m so happy that Uraraka can open herself up to her.
Perhaps redemption for Toga in the future?
