Idk if it's being homophobic or something like that but I think it stems from the fact that they're bet friends but also cuz they're both guys he allowed them to room together and then prolly assumed that Dojin took advantage of that.

That would not have happened if Dojin were a girl cuz they wouln't room a guy and a girl together cuz they'dassume that that's how things would naturally progress between a guy and a girl. Idk if it's homophobia or not but I think his reaction if Dojin were a girl wouldn't be as visceral bc they would just see it as something normal. He'd prolly still be mad but not as mad as he is now. Depends on the next chapters tho

I agree. He probably felt betrayed by his best friend and thinks that Dojin took advantage of the situation many times. The brother also freaks out when anything having to do with being gay is mentioned, so that is also a huge reason as to why he acted like that.

If his brother had a girlfriend, I don't think he would tell the gf to never come near them again. He's in college, so I don't think the brother would see any problem in that. But since it was a boy who Taehee is dating, Taehwan thought that severing ties with his best friend was the only way to make things better.
If Taehwan originally had a best friend who was a girl, her dating Taehee wouldn't be a problem, or weird. He wouldn't act disgusted and grow hate towards her because she was dating his brother.
I think his reaction was so negative because it was a boy :((

I don't believe that Taehwan would cut ties and feel hate towards his best friend just for dating his sister. He believes that Dojin is a good person, and if anything, he might be happy about it

I can see your point there, and obviously I don't know yet what the true reasonings are yet. I just feel like if I trusted my friend to stay at my place with really cheap rent and I found out they were sleeping with one of my siblings, I don't think I would be very happy about it, regardless of gender or how good of a person they are. I agree cutting ties is quite crazy and over dramatic regardless lol considering they are all adults

We'll have to wait until next week to find out Taehwan's true feelings about it (╥﹏╥)
