Totally agree with the scanlation staff, I want to see Takara and Kiyomine make an appearence so badly !! TwT
Am I the only one who thinks that Kamiya Hiroshi wasn't the best choice for Ren though ? I wish Yuko would have voiced him for the whole thing... I was literally overjoyed when I saw she voiced him and totally heartbroken when they switched to Hiroc y_y I love him a lot, just not as Ren
(btw, i love love love drama cds based on abe sensei's mangas because they all have my favourite female seiyuus hehe)

We don't know about the anime yet, but yeah in the drama CD he voices Ren once he enters high school, before that it's Yuko Sanpei who voices him and she did such a great job at voicing him, I think her voice fits him perfectly ;-; (i'm a bit biased since she's one of my fav seiyuu though haha)
I hope they keep her for young Ren in the anime at least... but for Hakkenden it was Paku Romi (also one of my faves haha) who voiced Shino in the CD and they changed to Kakihara Tetsuya for the anime so I'm scared they'll do something like that again :(

oh my god this mangaka is amazing. This is just... perfectly twisted and beautiful and fdksfklsjfk ;__; I love it, the atmosphere kinda reminds me of Murakami Ryu's books and he's my favourite author of all time so yeah it's THAT amazing
This is the kind of story that leaves a strong impression on you. There are a few mangas of that kind that I can't forget, and I'm pretty sure I'll never forget this one either. I'll definitely buy this if I can **
oh my god I can't believe how little reviews there are here...
I randomly bought this manga when I was like 10 years old, and it's still one of my favourites now that I'm turning 21, as you can tell by my username - if 11 years of undying love for this manga can't convince you to read it, then... idk what to say haha
this manga made me laugh, go dokidoki, cry, and everything at once sometimes, it's really one of the best slice of life shoujo mangas ever.
You can also get Mihona sensei's fashion advices - that are totally outdated now but at least you'll know what was fashionable in the gyaru world in the late 90s xD
Have you tried to watch the anime? I really love it, ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ its so funny and interesting. It is the first rule of a gal (O.<) ahah
I did ! it was the first anime I tried to watch without subtitles lmao, I found a dvd in a japanese second hand shop and bought it anyway haha. I did buy the subbed version later though. I really love it :')
