I'd honestly read a story on how he met his wife. But like a short side story xD I want more of Sangho's future lol.
I'm excited to see how their relationship plays out. And it's interesting how the brother is really thinking about his memories of Sangho. It seemed like he didn't want to offend him as he said girlfriend in the past, though it's technically accurate bc Sangho said he was bi once. I just love seeing a sibling that cares even after being initially #shook (AND AFTER THAT PHONE CALL #yikes).
I think it helps that Sangho isn't the oldest and there are already grandkids (as that can be a bitch in traditional families while coming out). I just like reading their situations. I hope Sangho goes back to the house and makes up with him.
I have a feeling one of the siblings will be accepting (big bro) while the other perhaps isn't as much (Hakdo's sis).
I know that spontaneous gay confessions are hard (and I agree that the girl is selfish and Hoyoung is an idiot),
But I just still can’t get over how Beom kind of made it like “Love me or leave me.” I get it that’s its hard to be in a position of unrequited love, but it’s also difficult to be on the other side where someone is like “if you don’t feel this way let’s cut ties”. I’d be so broken if a childhood friend said that to me.
From Beom’s POV, everything has been going on for a long time, but from the other side it is very sudden. I’m not saying Beom’s feelings aren’t valid but when you’ve felt something way longer than someone else has, you can’t just expect them to automatically fall for you in the same time. Or just say yes or no. Maybe for Minkyu, that was a method (bc he is a super idiot), but Hoyoung is the thoughtful type and doesn’t want to hurt Beom. He’s more focused on fixing things, even if in idiotic ways.
I know this manhwa will probably be cliche and they’ll end up together anyway, but it’d honestly be cool if they could find a way to mend their friendship. Like it’s totally okay not to love him back, ya know?
Exactly!!! I hated that Beom made it an ultimatum and while I understand that things wouldn't truly go back to the way they were, surely he should also understand that Hoyoung knew nothing about his romantic affections and that he genuinely considered him to be something like his brother. And I didn't like how this manhwa shows that the only thing that can exist between two people who've been so close to each other that they'll sorely miss the other person's presence in their life is romantic love. This is just invalidating Hoyoung's feelings and while I get that this is just a work of fiction, it's still wrong of Beom to have that mindset about this.
Yeah I get that too. I know it’s fiction as well, so I don’t want to get too heated, and I like Minkyu and Junhyung, but it’d be nice if this BL could’ve been different where the side friends’ feelings are valid but don’t necessarily have to be love. I feel for Beom and don’t want him hurting, but he also seems strong to the point where if he’s rejected I really think he would eventually be okay. It’s difficult to be in friend groups like this where one person has an ultimatum. Also your name cracks me up.
Beom did not force his feeling on Hoyoung. He did not expect anything. Hell, he was willing to hide them! But when your friend sets you up on a date with a girl not long after you confess and then slaps you when you tell them how you feel about it, a line was crossed so another one has to be drawn. Beom was not in the wrong nor was he selfish. Hoyoung and that girl were being toxic.
I feel like the comments are so unsatisfied because his personality is still the same, but you shouldn’t have to completely change for your partner regardless. Dojin loves him like that, and Hyesung has had moments where he really thought about his future or baby Byul. The Hyesung at the beginning of the story wouldn’t have done any of this. Even though he has a weird denial flex, his actions say otherwise. I’m not really sure what everyone is expecting. Some people don’t say it through words but it doesn’t mean they don’t love their partner, ya know?
And can we just appreciate the sister in a suit as well like she has such dominant energy I love it.
I hate when a BL couple can’t get it together due to one thing or another and the blame is immediately shifted to a side or female character. As if half of you greedy mongrels wouldn’t do the same if you were in her place. I just hate when one character is treated as the enemy outside a relationship, when in reality, if YuYang’s self esteem was half of what he pretends it to be on the outside, they may have already reached their shaky start. I’m not blaming him for being hurt, but you guys are blind if you’re really ignoring how every time a confession is about to happen it goes like this:
• I’m a coward I can’t admit I like you.
WangWang may have been a trigger, but if the idea of someone being interested in his hot tall attractive guy is too much for YuYang to handle, then his relationship will always be threatened. I understand the beginning when he couldn’t tell LiHuan’s intentions or if he was serious. But he’s done MORE than proven himself now. I just hate that WangWang is suddenly the fujoshi enemy when a relationship that is sturdy wouldn’t even be shaken by a friend’s encouragement. She told no lies.
GODDAMIT ALEK
