i know these little fluff balls have been through a lot together, and this is only going to strengthen their relationship.
That being said, I feel like they should take a break.
Hear me out, I know it sounds horrible to say anything about break ups but I think this is that stage in a relationship where one of the two people is overthinking so much to the point where their insecurities are becoming every part of their waking hour. Nemu needs to step out of this relationship and find himself, and find a career, and define himself outside of their relationship. He used to have studying, and that used to define him so well, but now that they're young adults and moving onto other things (career, friends, long-term relationship, etc.), he is struggling and he sees this example of someone who is succeeding in maya and ruka. After he's figured himself out, then he can come back to the relationship. Maybe work abroad, or continue on to do a phd just a goal that helps him see himself in a better light, and gain him confidence. But right now nemu just does not see himself as an equal to maya, and it is REALLY taking a toll on him. Especially since he does not know how to articulate himself, which I feel would also come when he gains more confidence from doing things by himself and succeeding.
Anyways, I'm excited to see where this goes, and I know I wrote a whole rant lol, but sensei doesn't disappoint, and I feel that this pair has been extremely well written and well developed the second volume onwards. maya/nemu pair fighting! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
