What I got from this chapter:
1. Dan FINALLY woke up from his fantasies.
2. Jaekyung will definitely NOT give us a satisfying redemption arc. (He’s beyond help atp)
3. It’s either Jaekyung will lose his next match because of Dan, making him dump his anger on him. This will give us a slight hint of his true feelings for Dan. OR Jaekyung will NOT lose his match but will lose Dan. This will also give us and him a bit of a hint on his feelings for Dan but in a different way.
4. Either way, Dan’s feelings will significantly deteriorate starting from this chapter. He will be confused, yes, if Mingwa will take the “Jaekyung Savior” route but he will remember his past actions and the words of JK’s ex-lover.

I actually got scared of Dan becoming indifferent to everything. I hope he'll take this as a signal to value himself more.. He needs and deserves the confidence to get back on his feet and stand proudly that he is able to withstand the ruthlessness of this man and is making or contributing to the champion title that JJK is.

Big agree. The indifference/numbness is not a great coping mechanism. But considering the position he is in, I get it.
