One thing to say… Renegade by TS perfectly encapsulates this story line.
I tapped on your window on your darkest night
The shape of you was jagged and weak
There was nowhere for me to stay
But I stayed anyway
And if I would've known
How many pieces you had crumbled into
I might've let them lay
Are you really gonna talk about timing in times like these?
And let all your damage damage me
And carry your baggage up my street
And make me your future history
It's time, you've come a long way
Open the blinds, let me see your face
You wouldn't be the first renegade
To need somebody
Is it insensitive for me to say
Get your shit together?
So I can love you
Is it really your anxiety
That stops you from giving me everything?
Or do you just not want to?
I tapped on your window on your darkest night
The shape of you was jagged and weak
There was nowhere for me to stay
But I stayed anyway
You fire off missiles 'cause you hate yourself
But do you know you're demolishing me?
And then you squeeze my hand as I'm about to leave
Best ending route for wrecked people:
Yuhan is never truly dead, he lives not only in Fl’s memories, but also in the movie that signified his love and the ent company he helped create for Fl (which is a full circle moment actually as his dad did this for his mom).
Yes, Fl will never truly get over Yuhan. But despite the pain being the same, people grow and have more room both for the pain that grew roots and the new things to come.
That being said, Fl and Director Cheon find solace in their shared pain. And who knows, in a distant time and place, this common ground would grow flowers and bloom into something more. (This was actually hinted by how Director Cheon almost did the promise thing with Fl)
Fl is a strong woman. She is the type who can love again, maybe not as intense, but definitely a love that endures. Meanwhile, Director Cheon has an irreplaceable first love, yes I admit. But who says you need to replace it?
The beauty in Fl and Director Cheon’s possible romance is not in its ability to replace or take over their previous loves, but in its ability to understand, accept, and acknowledge that it did happen. In this, they are able to move forward (not move on), in a new beginning where their past is not excess baggage, but rather tattoos of a love that has gone.
Overall, great story. Great ending. Just dont make another manhwa of this caliber or else I’ll lose my mind.
