The mc is also confusing. When you hear someone say that they'll kill you in the future, don't you usually plan to run away or figure out how to stay out of your would-be murderers way? But she didn't even get nervous when the emperor was holding her. Based on her thoughts, it's like she expects the emperor to have a tough exterior but soft heart. That may be so but she should learn how to be more cautious. In this regard, SBAP is much more realistic because the mc actually was prepared to run away. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

It's clear that the new dude has some domestic abuse issues, judging by his face at the time and the marks on his wrist. I'm not sure why the seme drove them away however, but it might of been because the new guy was in a fragile state of mind, or he wanted to be considerate towards his situation.
He did in fact sleep with that guy, it showed that to us pretty clearly, but I'm pretty sure it was in the past by how rushed the scene was.

Seriously, full of unnecessary drama and angstyness. Got dragged on for too long. Middle chapters were chaotic af. Lu Xuan Ran, also, deserves to go to jail. I honestly wanted the mc to kill him during that part where he was holding an ax tho lol i mean, ik its not possible but maybe mc can just cut an arm or somethin. All that emotional drama for nothin. Main couple are too soft. Meh. Liked that last chapter tho. Sweet. But honestly, it could've been any other gay couple and I still would've found it sweet af. Nothin to do with them but more on the fluffiness of the ch.
