I don't mind having females in his group but only temporarily and absolutely no romance ffs. It's an apocalypse. No one has time for romance at the start of it! Other people can but not our mc. I want him to focus on action, hoarding supplies and actually SURVIVING. He shouldn't easily get emotionally attached to people. It's so hard to find something like that nowadays. There's always harem and weakass mc who follow their dcks than their brain. Ugh

The seme is a playboy. He's apparently not playing around with the uke but it seems like that because he still has girls around him. Why would the uke expect anything at all? And yet, now he's being dramatic. It'll end up with the uke being hurt and they'll still end up together in the end. I really don't like this seme. Dropping this. Not my cup of tea. Too bad for the uke, tho. Such a cute pure uke stained by that cowardly seme.

SPOILER (?) FOR AUTHOR'S OTHER WORK:

yesss i agree with you! the author sure love this kind of theme. i was hoping for an actually good plot from the author but then it seems like the story is heading to what you just said.... the semes in author's other work are the kind of semes who hurt/manipulate the ukes, then, the ukes are still gonna forgive them and thats it! its such a waste cuz the art were so good and all the couples had potential to be so so good. im still gonna give it a go though, i hope for the story to go in a different way than whats expected. i hope the seme isnt the typical manipulative toxic character and he actually has his own reasons for what he did or a character development at least *fingers crossed*
...
Yeah, it's totally manipulative. Kunihiko knows that Haru has feelings for him, but instead of confessing his own feelings and talking seriously about wanting a romantic relationship, he decides to leave Haru and make him suffer on his own, until he comes running to Kunihiro and tells him that he loves him. Just because of his stupid pride.
Ikr? So egoistical. They're the kind of scum that I really detest because they're literally everywhere. I feel sorry for the uke because it's like they're just there to get played around. I don't want to get pissed at them either because I know they're innocent af and it's totally not their fault but damn, sometimes I can't help but get annoyed by their stupidity. Specially when the seme does something disgusting like cheating, uke is devastated, moves away, tries to start anew and stay strong, uke and seme meet again, seme does something pitiful, uke slowly caves in. Ughhh so fckin annoying
yeah ive read a lot of yaois and for me i enjoy the newer ones cuz they tend to have a better plot or at least a comforting ending from the authors, and ofc there may be a few/minor toxic characters/behaviours but imo theyre still better if we compare them to the old yaois. since this is a newer work from the author, i was hoping the characters arent the typical 'im gonna hurt you but youre still gonna love me anyways'.
sorry for answering on behalf ot them but its asatte ni kiss. its the story for hase and yuu. i enjoyed this wayyy better than author's other work, though its unfair for me to say i totally dislike them, i dont, i was just hoping the author didnt follow the mainstream in typical yaois and since asatte ni kiss was such a good read for me, i was hoping this manga will be my favorite too :(
Ah i see. Well then have you read Kawaii Obaka Kun? from the same author too. The beginning was kinda off for me but then the next chapters compensated it for me so yeah. Tbh its quite cute, the seme isnt an asshole throughout the story unlike in another few mangas (also from the same author) where red flags are everywhere.. now I see a pattern where I always came to dislike the semes in author's work. and its always the ukes who made me read all the way till the end XD
I'm trying to think of an incredibly non-problematic comic that'll hopefully satisfy everyone but I always have nothing to offer. It's easy to list fluff, no drama, great character development, no cliche, but there's this one problem that just ruffles someone's feathers. Like age gap, misunderstanding tropes, dumb mc/ml, it's omegaverse etc... It's tough to please everyone sadly.

Aw shucks. You didn't have to but thanks!
I'm actually fine with those tropes you mentioned. As long as there's no scum lead characters. Pretty broad but basically, someone who is a cheater, manipulates their partner into acting a certain way which caters to his ego, rapist male leads, too white lotus mc, etc. I've had enough of them tbh.
Anyway, thanks for the recs. I'll check it out later!

MD was nice but now he just looks like a creepy old man using his Dom/S position to vent out his personal feelings. Sure, he's probably doing all these horrible things for a better reason like trying to help Chanwoo say "no" to a scene he doesn't like or whatsoever but who the fuck cares. He let his feelings get the better of him. I think it's time Chanwoo finds another Dom lol
Also for those people thinking that Chanwoo deserves all these and is laughing at him for getting karma, our uke was clear with what he wanted from the start. Business is business. No personal feelings involved. He doesn't have to return MD's feelings at all. Sure, it was frustrating seeing him run off to another guy but he really doesn't deserve this and the "slap" next chap and all the uncomfortable things that his dom will force on him in the future scenes knowing he doesn't like them.
And yet, here we are. I really hope MD's 'plan' backfire. Chanwoo will say "no, I don't like this scene. Fuck off" and ran away never to see MD again. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Although Chanwoo might fall in love with him and he might succeed. In that case, that would be too predictable and this couple will lost their interesting value. Oh well.

From reading this, I conclude that reading the novel is much better. This just seems like another trying hard failed chinese manga with no originality tbh

To be honest he looks like I thought he would... excepts I was expecting grey/silver hair
ahh sorry I meant to reply to the comment above.
Definitely, but it’s probably because they have no choice since they have to condense an arc of 100+ chapters into probably 20-30 chapters with a certain amount of panels. That’s just too much to illustrate in terms of time and cost. Would recommend the novel as well.
