At first I was like "Awwn this is so cute" and after a while, I actually started tearing up. Like his mom is sooo supportive and she doesn't pressure him about it or smirk about it in a knowing way or even remotely allude to it but she's still letting him know he's okay and his feelings are normal and she's giving him space to figure it out for if or when he decides to tell them and it's just... it's really nice ok. I wish more parents were like this.
Is it just me or is the story kinda dragging on at this point? It's been 90 chapters and we still haven't gotten to the original point? When exactly is Jieun going to show up?
Also I still don't understand how Tia can be so alright with everything. It's one thing if she doesn't want revenge but why would she willingly want to serve someone who raped and killed her in her past life when she didn't even do anything? I get that they're trying to redeem the prince and say he was justified in his actions or whatever but she doesn't know anything about that. I just think it's weird that she isn't more pissed about everything that happened.
I think the problem I have is I'm only interested in stories like this up until the revenge part. Once they're done sticking up for themselves against the past enemies, then it just becomes regular plot and it's kinda meh.
Like The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes or The Duchess With An Empty Soul.
I hope the revenge in this one is drawn out a bit more though.
Alright I like how they showed the story from the brothers perspective.
I thought it was rather odd that the parents just picked up an orphan girl on the street and expected everybody else to be okay with it but at least now we see that it was actually a mental condition. Also seems like the mother is getting therapy so hopefully that's better.
The fact that they call her by her name rather than the dead daughter's name means there's at least some sanity to this crazy situation.
I don't think there's anyone at fault particularly but the only truly innocent person here is Hari because she doesn't have the choice that the other characters have. Luckily things will change now so here's looking forward to that.
I am liiiiking this.
It's so good to finally see some *actual* villianesses! Scarlet and Lily are some BAMFs and I staaaan. None of this misunderstood villainess or secretly evil heroine, nope just straight up bitchery and manipulation. I actually want to see more of Lily now, I bet she's fun!
When Scarlet took over the MC's body at the Grand palace thingy I was like "Yaaaasssss" that was some good shit right there.
Loool Lissa and Aseph were acting like siblings in this chapter and Zay was the mom who's all "I don't care who started it, I'm ending it. Now APOLOGIZE."
Also nah Lissa was more justified in this chapter, Zay is just biased towards Aseph.
