say what you want about dohyeok but i adore how strong he is haha, during those previous scenes where siwoo left him alone after sex we all thought dohyoek would be hurt and lonely BUT it turns out dohyeok wasn't feeling pitiful and lovelorn for himself he was just immediately scheming as to how to get siwoo LOL. queen!! but he's also so silly, like he really was like "wow.....my threats are working omg!! siwoo seems responsive yay! (pleased internal dialogue) like bb...that's not how normal ppl operate
but from dohyeok's pov he's like...only threats make siwoo responsive to me otherwise he keeps running away when i don't do stuff like this...in a weird way he's soooo pure about his affections he really just wants siwoo by his side and has no idea what he's doing

agree with the translator note about how this is a really interesting depiction of an alphaxalpha relationship; even though things aren't necessarily resolved you can tell they will be compromising and negotiating throughout it, even if they have to bear certain discomfort for the sake of one another (but that's what love is right?). really liked this, thanks for translating!

whoa it's like a top popular series on this site now and it also is getting way more traction on the k-side than the main story, despite the haters everyone is a side story sihyeok enjoyer hehe

dohyoek being like "change my personality? yea sure i can do that" like its EASY LOL but i love that about him!!! i wonder if we'll get a timeskip at some point where dh goes to the US alone and then they meet in the future.
there are so many unresolved plotlines though like what about the video that the green hair guy still has...dh still seems to have ptsd based on how scared he was to see his grandma...what about the npc siwoo admirer from whatever chapter...siwoo knowing about what happened to dh but they still haven't talked about it?
also there's so much emotional activity on dh's side i wonder when siwoo is going to show some emotional turbulence too bc right now he's kind of just lecturing dh even though he seems reluctantly worried and soft for dh...i hope there's more bc siwoo can't be just a mouthpiece for the author to "lecture" and "teach" dh, that would be boring

like i said this is pretty much pride and prejudice, dh runs his mouth bc he can't show weakness and bc of his arrogance and pride, thus confirming all of sw's prejudices against him even though dh might have no interest in actually carrying out his threats

it's funny bc everyone was feeling sympathy for dohyeok a few chapters ago and now they don't bc of what he said hh this is what siwoo struggles with and why he's so hot and cold w/ dohyeok and yet just like sw can't stop fucking dh till he passes out we keep tuning into this manhwa every week

the size difference is ridiculous so when the bottom is talking such a big game it's just funny and i can't take him seriously because he's so easily just thrown around and has no leverage at all...

if this is all just written for the sake of dohyeok hitting rock bottom as "punishment". it'll be the biggest waste of the incredibly interesting chemistry between siwoo and dohyeok if that's how it ends...but hearing news about how this is ending soon, i have a feeling we won't be getting a satisfactory ending and that the author doesn't rly know what they're doing :/

so many bottoms in manhwa are either just perfect naive little angels OR they "seem" strong at the beginning but then cave immediately/get pushed around by the top, so it's SUPER satisfying to see characters like dohyeok and how there is ACTUAL friction between the two MLs, both of whom have super strong, stubborn personalities. if you want some normcore love story b/w two morally righteous ppl there are so many options out there; leave this one alone for us!! <3

dohyeok initially called for siwoo bc he was rattled after that encounter w/ the green grey hair dude. the issue is that though he clearly has feelings for siwoo and views him as a source of comfort and safety, he doesn't recognize his own feelings bc he's not self-aware and also has never been in love. so the way he expresses his feelings is through wanting to dominate and keep siwoo close (hence the threats).

dohyeok is also SO used to a world of dog eats dog/strong vs weak that he constantly just needs to assert control and dominance (esp after his incredible loss of control after being r/ped); so him running his mouth and saying all that shit is both his personality AND also probably some product of his ptsd (desire to assert control). anyways i personally think all of this makes dh interesting and fun to read about!!
