you know what makes me mad to this day? that akihiko being forceful with haruhi made no sense to me. like the author spent their time building up their dynamic: aki seeing haru as someone valuable, strong, kind, very saint-like, someone very precious. so precious he did not want haru to know he was still sleeping around bc (maybe) he thought that would diminish their relationship. or make haru think less of him..
so that scene in particular not only was super unnecessary but really contradicted his character??? and that is more on the author than anything. seriously, the aki we were presented before that would not do that. like why wouldn't a verbal disagreement suffice to get the "it cant be you/i cant rely on you" thing? author what were you thinking???
