So like, what's the point of saving the evil empress consort? my issues:
1. Gratia is constantly saying "oh don't change the timelines!" but keeps saying things to change the timelines. Rasha dying being one of them. so like what's even the point of being 'careful'
2. I don't see the benefit of keeping the evil bitch alive. That will keep the Crown Prince in that toxic relationship FOREVER. not to mention. what about the people? this bitch will literally kill anyone for anything. I think it's good that she dies
3. wanted the prince not to lose his will to live? what about actually giving him some friends that his mother can't kill? an objective unrelated to his mother? like anything could work good
4. We can't even advocate for her dying "to save her son" because let's be for real: she clearly didn't. she thinks of him as an extension of her greed, an object, a thing to keep power at hand, to show that she remains superior in the imperial palace. if the prince dies? she becomes no one, but if he lives then that means that she won and he will become the emperor because of her. she did not and does not care about him.
but no. let's save the genocidal, power hungry, who does not care about anyone but herself woman. yeah, that will be good, definitely worth whatever pain Gratia will have to endure.
also let's not forget about the emperor that they're trying to portray as benevolent: he knows the first and second princes are being emotionally abused by his wives: he does nothing. useless pos, that's what he is.
and that's just the tip of the iceberg of my issues with this, but you know. I enjoy it like you do a crappy reality show lol let's see how they'll justify this
I’m confused, I don’t remember Heinley giving up anything for Navier? Like maybe he changed his plans of world domination or whatever’s, but besides that everything would be the same even if it wasn’t with her (=・ω・=)?
He gave up his plans to destroy the Eastern Empire’s mages. Even if it had come out later that he did anything against the Eastern Empire they would have been too weak to stand against the Western Empire to do anything about it. It’s possible for the Eastern Empire to start a war over this or for the people to rise against Heinley framing him as a tyrant.
He was preparing for war against the eastern empire and he gave up because of Navier
