one of the tenants (the girl w glasses) gets married to the foreigner at a small wedding the other tenants organize. she then goes on a honeymoon and moves out.
houju helps Miko study for her upcoming exams and they end up falling asleep in the table until matsunaga comes home. ok so turns out houju (the cat guy) likes miko, and so he asks matsunaga what his feelings are towards miko, but then he says it isn’t his business basically. they both dismiss it while blushing
miko and houju go to the supermarket, where he tells her she can rely on him any time she wants. he also tells her that she should tell matsunaga how she feels or else they won’t progress into a relationship or smth.
miko gets a call from her mom saying that the grandma is sick, but tells her not to worry. ofc miko will worry, and matsunaga catches on, so he offers to drive her to where her grandma is because ‘she’s someone special to him’ and he wouldn’t do something like that for just anyone.
fast forward her grandma is actually alright and she just had hemorrhoids. miko’s mom asks matsunaga to take care of miko, so they go somewhere to eat.
afterwards, miko recalls when houju told her that if she doesn’t tell matsunaga how she feels, they won’t progress, so she gathers the courage to hug matsunaga from behind. she tells him that she feels sorry for dragging him so far away for nothing, and that she’ll ‘repay him with her body’ (lmao idk what’s going on in her head haha).
matsunaga is flustered and tells her to get off, but miko refuses. he then leans in to kiss her, pauses to tell her she’s too tense, and then bumps her forehead and turns away. he tells her that that isn’t how ‘adults’ are satisfied ^0^
they get back to the house and matsunaga says he’ll shower and go straight to bed (or he tells miko that, sorry i was a lil confused at that part). houju asks how her grandma is, and miko tells him that she ‘might’ve done something to make matsunaga hate her’. Houju immediately refutes and tells her ‘it’s impossible for someone to hate you. you’re always so beautiful that it’s practically impossible’ (AWWW HOUJU). he says sorry and then she goes to bed thinking if matsunaga is thinking about the day’s events.
ch. 26 ends with what looks like matsunaga acting as Miko’s guardian for parent teacher conferences? while konatsu is miko’s teacher. hope this helped!! (ㆀ˘･з･˘)
