Since Cain seems to remember a past life, which is the reason for his attachment to Jooin, I suspect that asshole sunbae and jooin knew each other in their past life too.
Maybe that is even the reason for their attraction to each other, which obviously exists even if asshole sunbae acts like a huge dick about it.
I'm calling it now that at some point both of them are going to have some strange dreams or some kind of awakening that manifests their eternal true love or something else along their lines for each other
This sounds dumb but I feel like in that "past life" Yawhi might've had feelings for jooin that wasn't returned because jooin likes Cain?
At this point it is pretty much guessing since Cain's introduction has been the only place where a past life was mentioned
So who knows? Maybe ?
Since Cain calls him master, Jooin had to be in a position of power and Cain seems to have served him (very passionately so, considering how he reacts in regard to him). Their relationship could be more, could be less.
At this point it's either star crossed lovers or one true love for asshole sunbae and Jooin who knows everything is possible, if you ask me.
In the Bible Cain betrayed and killed his brother, so I am curious if that is some kind of foreshadowing too or if it is just an edgy naming
Either way since it is a brought up plot point, we will find out sooner or later.
(I actually thought at first that Cain was Jooins dog in his former live. I think because he seems like a puppy xD)
