you're right but i also understand why people react that way, because the author drew them as adults even though they are not but it's also not wrong because old xian clearly knew that the age of consent in china is 14, probably the reason why it's not uncomfortable for her to draw 'this'
i love how this shoujo is sweet and innocent and dramatic but without having to rely on clichees and tropes! like, it's avoiding all the scenarios and characteristics of typical shoujo manga while still staying true to the genre. and the characters themselves are so refreshing and great and honest and wonderful, i love all interactions and a lot of them actually make me squeal. i need this to continue for a long time, i am totally invested in this couple and will definitely buy all books
it's the honesty that both characters show that makes all this hot. and relatable, ofc, since they don't show exaggerated or trope-y reactions/actions/expressions. the visual storytelling in this is top tier.
if i was that sunbae i'd think i'm being targeted. this kinda shit happening once may be a coincidence, but twice could indicate a pattern. i'd be wary of our mc and intimidate him just in case he wants to continue pulling that kinda shit on me.
i live for this manga only. this author is probably the best in the game rn. yaoi has never been this real and relatable before. the art style and overall way of visual storytelling are magnificent.
