Cheating and violence have a range of reasons why people do them. I don't condone them but depending on their reasons, I may sympathize and empathize or condemn altogether. But that's just me. I believe there are valid reasons for them as there are incorrigible ones. To me, it depends on one's psychological condition and the purpose and/or what do those acts fill on the doer. The story shows a valid one, imo. Valid enough to pardon and to be rectified, I mean.
