Welllll not really, I forgot his damn name but the guy with the metal wires ability is the real traitor and the Elijah “situation” is still kind of a mystery, we know that he has nicos memories, but we still don’t know if he reincarnated like Arthur/grey or if he just had an awakening of nico (past life “friend”of arthur/grey, it’s a bit complicated ) or sum, I’m currently on volume 8 of the novel and I’m halfway through and lemme just say sumthin that’s gonna cofuse all of you and make you lose your fucking marbles hahahahahahahhah

so in Arthur's past, elijah is his best friend too, and they're from an orphanage. just like this life, Arthur from past life got everything too, even got the person he likes. yes. Elijah's crush likes Arthur, but unfortunately there's some accident that i forgot why but in the end his crush is killed by Arthur...

and now here he is, he wants a revenge...
he's in Elijah's body.. and currently elijah is on enemy's side, but elijah cant remember well..
in the future he will confront it w Arthur and reveal who he was..

To correct u: in his past life, grey, Nico and Cecilia were bedt frens. They join the training for the king candidate, where Grey and Cecilia reaches the finalle and fight against each other. Now, Cecilia like Nico too (probably) and what the case was, is that Grey was unbeatable in fighting but his mana (ki) reserves were really low. And Cecilia on the other hand had such huge ki core that she could do the deemed impossible. In the end Grey was losing and attacks her one last time where she removes her barrier and let's the sword pierce her body. It was a suicide bcs she had become a doll of the government to control. Nico sees grey killed Cecilia abs gets full of revenge

it’s possible that elijah was from alcrya n appeared on dicathen as a child which he then got trained by the dwarves, but it’s kind of clear that he wasn’t always nico, at least not like how grey is Arthur

Yeah I forgot to include that but nico IS raised by evil alacryan forces, notice how in the comic arthur is always like “huh Elijah has some really interesting powerful magic”? Well that’s cus elijahs mentor/dude who raised him, was a evil-ish.

The dwarfs always got the short end of the stick in the three way aliance, and they did not like that, so long before the discovery of the other continent and alacryans, the dwarf had already been plotting with them.
I know that part for sure. And the part about nico you are right about the past life story, but the thing that remains unknown is whether nico reincarnated as elijah (like how art did), or if he’s just regaining his memories of being nico. But either way, right now elijah sees art as a true friend because he doesn’t know that art is grey yet. THEREFORE ELIJAH IS NOT THE TRAITOR, I hope this helped clear somethings up, I am on the 8th book so I might re read the book series, but if have any questions or you notice something wrong tell me! I might have made som typos along the way
