wait maybe im missing something but arent gunwoo and mc relatives/distant relatives?? idk im only like 40 chaps in but earlier on i think they introduced gunwoo as mc's distant relative...
they are not distant relatives (or even related) they are just called that because eon was picked up from winning the tournament and made into the eon family successor because there were no other candidates. the eons are the maternal side of haewon's clan. so basically her moms clan. they have no blood relation.
