Well, some hints are there. For example, how it seems that ML needs to learn about almost everything. Very likely that he rose from the dead and forgot everything about his previous life, including all the basics someone his age should know.
26 chapters in and I really feel for the MC, I can equate his loneliness and longing for genuine love to my depression. If I was in a scripted play, that I knew wasn't real and kept me stagnant all in the hopes of never having to deal with my depression again.
I would definitely hesitate rejecting that false hood. Just the thought of never having to deal with my depression again even knowing that what I'm living isn't real . . . I would struggle really hard with coming to terms with going back to reality.
Rejecting something that makes your life easier even when you know it's bad for you can be very hard.

I'm 11 chapters in and it's really interesting but if ML iS truly the evil that he is accused of and MC still gets with him I CANNOT tolerate it.
Unfortunately, there are no grand schemes. He never really cared about his friend and was just somewhat guilty about his death. Plus mc is falling for the ml. Which I find crazy ridiculous.
