Does this get better? I'm currently on chapter 20 and I can't see what the hype is about, I really wanted to enjoy this too. The only character that i like so far is Minjae, even if his character seems to have forced feelings and actions.
I feel for him when he got cheated on and dumped, but then he started being attracted to someone else in his OWN body? I would personally not be in any way attracted to my own body appearance. So the only other way he could have liked Woochan is through his character and personality.
I get how he would have fallen for Woochan for their personality, but Woochan had nothing positive about his personality?
The few moments spent together was rough and Woochan was rude throughout, so I'm not sure how Minjae fell for him? It would have made sense if Woochan fell for Minjae first cause he has redeemable qualities.
imo the body switch is unnecessary.. if u take that away, the story is pretty good especially around the end when everything got revealed.. i dont get the point of the body switching then the falling in love while their not on their body
Sam sucks, I can already tell he's gonna be the endgame partner to Henry. Seth is probably gonna get used while Sam has been lying to Henry about the info on his divorce and housing situation.
Sam is already so toxic, not sure how so many people are finding it okay that he ends up with Henry. Kinda wish we get more stories where the first person we see is NOT who the male lead ends up with. Dropped around Ch 37
Nah, Seth doesnt get used. He knows from the beginning that Henry's in love with Sam, but Seth likes him so much he doesn't care and even hopes to change Henry's mind. Henry even tells him straight up, and Seth says he doesnt mind
Nah man...... Everyone in this bl fandom is toxic....... And Sam and Henry can't live without each other, they've been friends forever. Henry doesn't wanna lose their friendship and deep inside he still loves Sam as you can see through out. Sam is obsessive as you can already tell and only wants Henry. Seth already knew from the beginning that he doesn't have a chance but he still ends up reaching out to Henry which lead to him being heartbroken. So, technically, everyone was kinda toxic either in a subtle way or full on.
And Yes, the first guy we see is always the male lead, that's funny(≧∀≦), that's true..... Well their "chemistry" or appearance together is the first thing that hook readers into shipping them...... But in this one, it's divided in Pro-Seth and Pro-Sam....
The only thing I got from this is that we only the main couple got a backstory, I don't know anything about Seth except that he's a Uni student, likes baseball, likes henry, and he's a precious little bean. I still liked Sam more than anyone else in the story. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

You’re forgetting this is a kink-driven genre. The last time I checked, turns out fiction and kinks as a duo don’t seem to care about your feelings or morals. Who would have thought that a bunch of women in their late 20’s would write smutty stories without thinking about it too deeply because they know that most of their sensible fanbase would understand that this is not to be accepted within real life. Yeah, should yaoi authors write some kind of forewarning or notice? Maybe. Are they gunna? Probably not. I don’t know why this is hard for ppl to understand.
Also, while people get all triggered when I say this, (claiming that I support rape, which I DON’T) technically even if implied, within a fictitious story, it is completely up to the author to determine whether her NON-LIVING, INANIMATE characters feel and interpret events as actually ‘traumatic’ and or as rape. Yes, they shouldn’t depict assault as if to normalize it, but again, most sensible people know better and enjoy these kinds of stories for their faulty attributes. Tbh though, if it doesn’t directly harm LIVING people I don’t know why we criticize each other. Anyway rant over, hope that clears things up for you. If you don’t agree with me that’s fine ig. I don’t have a life so I figured I’d inform you.

Is it because some translation groups got in trouble with the author? Or is the rest of the story behind some big paywall? I think it's because when they started translating it, the webtoon was still ongoing, and they were pretty far behind, so the original was completed before they could catch up. Back then in naver, when the webtoon is ongoing, it's free, but when it's completed, you have to pay for the chapters. If you go on to naver you can see that you still have to pay for, that's probably why they stopped.

I couldn't see the rape tag cause on mobile the browsing pages interface is messed up. I'm glad i got to warn you about it though! The rape here is passed off as "animal instinct", but any smut here is rape (multiple scenes). There's no real consensual feelings or connection between the two.

I’m more surprised how you don’t expect rape most of the time lmao, if you did that then you wouldn’t be so disappointed. If you don’t ever want to expect rape, the best option you have is to just read the stories in the fluff section or shounen ai tag
Unfortunately, there's not a lot i can truly read. Let's say i check out 10 stories to read on the discover page for shounen ai (and mostly the art or summary catches my eye), maybe around 8 will contain rape, sexual harrassment or boderline sus dubious consent because it has become way too normalized. And most won't have the rape tag attached, which is even harder for me to sort through. This story was brutal for me, in the sense of how rape was displayed here. There were also almost no comments/topics warning or mentioning the rape scenes. (I usually go pages of comments just to try to see a rape warning) And due to personal trauma, rape is not my preference in stories. Yet it seems normal for most BL to include it, even in regular heterosexual stories.
Just wish it wasn't so normalized or at least more clearer for me to avoid!

So I'm a little confused towards the ending chapters. Was the old Dojin we see in the last chapter with his niece the 26th Version of Dojin? And not the last (our) Dojin we were following throughout?
Then "our" Dojin didn't die of old age in order to reunite with Yellow Dragon right?
So does this mean that every time Yellow Dragon reverses time there's a different dimension that branches off? Cause how was the old Dojin and last Dojin able to meet in person at the same time in order to exchange the pearl? Because each version of Dojin has different events that follow every time, so like the future (or past-future) changes for every Dojin is different.
No. Easiest way to prove: look at chapter 65, "old" Dojin doesn't have a ring but the "last" Dojin do when he grows old.
Ok, ok slow down I didn't understand the second question BUT THANK GOD someone else noticed the dojin that died wasn't "our dojin" but the other version of him. If you READ CLOSELY it say 4 years later so there is no way for him to become old. So he might of not really waited for deatg . Thank you for not letting me be the only one that knows!!

Really enjoyed the story and character development so far! The main characters have some proper sensible thoughts towards others and the different situations, especially towards those outside of royalty.
I wasnt expecting much when i started reading since i was tired of the cliche reincarnated concubine/princess stories, but the characters made me stay and the plot made me love this story!

Why did the advisor wait 9 MONTHS to see MC whose been imprisoned on an island by herself? I kinda lost respect for the advisor when i realized how long he's been avoiding her.

his excuse was also wishy washy. Elin knew he was going to leave after delivering the rations, then later after being found out he suddenly changes his mind and saus he regretted not meeting her in that 9 months like he wasn't about to just leave her in his boat after dropping off food.
I'm also kind of disappointed that the female lead is not very smart or innovative or anything at all. She came from the future, she could have greatly contributed to developing their nation, but instead the story focused the romance too much.
I was even hoping women empowerment with Dana and Elin's friendly relationship, but that idea wasn't even explored. To makes matters worse, Dana became a sobbing nutjob who doesn't even talk. Kind of a waste of plot line there.
All the women are either weak or evil in this webtoon which is kind of disappointing.
I definitely agree with Ellin not using at least some of her knowledge from the future in order to more greatly enhance herself, her situation, or the nation, etc. I thought the story was eluding to her using future's knowledge when the scenes about astronomy and the days in the calendar appeared, but it led to nothing (yet hopefully).
And i also thought that Dana and Ellin would have teamed up in terms of power when the queen/concubine was to be chosen. But it seems like Dana forgot all about Ellin once she was chosen, Ellin sacrificed her nation's alliance and their chance at a better life in order to be with who you thought is your long lost lover? OOF
And i completely forgot! The advisor was gonna leave without telling Ellin that it was him. That made it even worse, once he finally decided to visit, even if it was because she needed supplies, he didn't even want to confront her. It was really OoC of him imo
agree on all your points. I was thinking maybe Dana was being tortured or poisoned or whatever by the queen dowager like what happened to Moon and Light's mother, but then Dana became docile right after the wedding which for me is too easy? And also, Dana didn't even thought about visiting Ellin in her mini island prison.
I feel like there's a big potential wasted on the good female characters in this story, all the male characters get all the glory, action, and lime light.
