Guys I'll probably receive hate for this but this is my pov, altho the omega is manipulative and psychotic he treats them mc well, he keeps him happy and respect his opinion. Plus he's psycho because of how long he waited for mc to love him back.. like I really feel happy for him if mc chooses the alpha as end game, I'm going into depression shit that's it.

Context before that was : Red haired guy sold away the Archer Shuli gifted him during Christmas and he started behaving suspicious so shuli requested the elder bro and male lead to have a look at him, then it was found out that red hair guy fell into the trap of Shulis brother.. Like it wasn't because of bad friends but because Shuli brother set up a plot to tame red hair, so that they can ruin Shuli family in a way. It was all planned and plotted by a cardinal who was given orders.

Exactlyyy. I think the side story is giving us So Much Context about the origin of the curse as well as the motives of the First King and Queen.
The passed down story of the curse painted the King as a bad guy who manipulated the Queen but that's not entirely true. Without this side story, the first king will remain a villain, when the truth is much more complex. I LOVE IT!
