Tbh, shouldn't there be another way of gathering essence that his method now?
There are other species so considering that there should be hundreds of millions of people should be there and millions more of other species.

If he wanted to get more essence then he should target those who's been doing wrong and gathering essence.

But I do see how the author wants this to go considering there's ranking and all that stuff. (?)
But I do feel like he's doing it wrong.... Yeah
