It really wouldn't be a bad ending if he died. I don't hate him or anything but this feels complete. He's satisfied with saving ruby and becoming a successful idol at this point he really wasn't living for himself. Yeah Ruby and his family is gonna take it hella hard but Ruby will probably connect the two when she sees her father died aswell. And continues to live her life for Aqua and Ai i think that'd be a perfect ending
